Abstract

Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) Sentry, a fully autonomous underwater vehicle capable of exploring the ocean depths to 6,000 Meters. Sentry was designed to emphasize extreme maneuverability, close bottom following, large and innovative payloads, and rapid transit to and from the seafloor. New capabilities include simultaneous operations with ROV's and HOV's allowing for longer dives and data collection.
